The brief
To re-configure and up-grade large sections of an existing pharmaceutical health care production facility and fit out a new build extension so as to double production capacity, at the same time as ensuring existing production was maintained throughout the contract.
To design and install state of the art mechanical and electrical installations to meet both the high standards and specific demands of a sophisticated pharmaceutical client.
The solution
Fast track construction, low maintenance systems were employed together with resin floors to achieve the clean room finishes. The use of extensive mezzanine structures allowed the installation of the large scale mechanical and electrical installations to progress without impacting on, or slowing down the building and refurbish- ment work within a very tight programme
The result
The provision of a high spec, low maintenance. clean room production facility incorporating a fully controlled environment M&E package that exceeded the clients expectations and allowed production goals to be met. Close co-operation and flexibility in approach allowed ADM to incorporate large scales changes within the agreed contract period.
